Rashi Yadav was announced the winner of Miss Earth India 2016 during the finale at Ramada Gurgaon Central in New Delhi on 3rd October. Soon after the announcement a series of controversies got in full swing. The contestants are now planning to sue the organisation for unfair pageantry.
According to sources, Rashi Yadav may withdraw from the beauty pageant on account of pressure from the controversies. India had high hopes with this year’s winner of the beauty pageant for the beauty queen of Miss Earth India 2016 not just gets a tiara but also the right to represent India at Miss Earth 2016, one of the top five beauty pageants in the world.

With the way Rashi was announced the winner, abruptly, without even an introduction or the question/answer round, she may really be thinking about giving away the crown and standing clean from this controversy. Rashi’s Wikipedia page has been deleted, giving a clue of how much pressure the newly crowned must be under.
Though, Rashi was a good contender to be the beauty queen, it is very true that an unfair competition never gives the winner the essential happiness of victory. With this it can be concluded that the sources may be right about Rashi giving up the Miss Earth India 2016 crown.
