“If you had a chance to talk one on one with President-elect Rodrigo Duterte, what assistance would you ask from him on your climate change advocacy?”
Kiaragiel Gregorio - “My campaign is called One with the Earth with change to teach skills, influence minds and build the future. And now if I had a chance to talk to President-elect Duterte, I would ask him for more funding to support my advocacy and to help me reawaken the spirit of environmentalism within everyone, because climate change is an ecological holocaust and there is nothing that can stop us from this environmental degradation. Thank you.”
Shannon Rebecca Bridgman - “My advocacy is to educate elementary children on the importance of environmental conservation and proper waste management. Therefore, I would ask the newly elected President to help me make environmental conservation permanent, and therefore children can learn at a young age to look after the environment. Thank you.”
Melanie Mader - “ My advocacy is to have a right to clean and accessible drinking water because water is one of the most precious gifts on Earth, and I would like to ask Mr Duterte to help me to keep our Mother Earth beautiful and alive, and to educate our citizens about what our nation is facing right now and that we all have to work together because if we believe, we can achieve. Thank you.”

Loren Mar Guillermo Artajos - “Climate change is one of the present environmental issues nowadays in the world and Ilocos Nort in Philippines is the only place in South East Asia where the first windmills have been created and the largest wind farm in South East Asia. I would like to ask the President to give assistance and opportunities, not only to my province but also all to the other parts of the Philippines to promote clean renewable energy related to my advocacy. Good evening.”
Imelda Schweighart - "My climate change advocacy is banning genetically modified organisms (GMO) and genetically modified seeds, because I believe in natural food in order to feed our mind, body, and soul. So if we really want to feed our minds and become smarter, let's support banning GMO, [president-elect] Duterte. At the same time, I would like to encourage him to put bike lanes here in Manila, and I would take him to Puerto Princesa and I would show him how clean our place is."
