Miss Grand Colombia Organization hosted its first edition of the pageant on 11th February 2018 where Genesis Quintero was crowned as the winner of Miss Grand Colombia 2018.

In the recent news, the organization also chose the official representative of Colombia to Top Model of the World 2018 – Gina Paola Cazaran.  The reigning Top Model of the World 2017 is Julia Gershun from Ukraine.

Gina represented Oriental Plains (Llanos Orientales) at Miss Grand Colombia 2018. She is a 22-year-old graduate from Universidad Santo Tomas of Villavicencio in Psychology. Standing a whopping 180 cm tall, she works with underprivileged communities especially with children.

Her tall frame and her mixture of Afro and indigenous roots are definitely her USP which she can use to her advantage in the upcoming competition.

Colombia did not send any representative at Top Model of the World 2017. A year before that, Top Model of the World Colombia 2016 Alejandra Ochoa was crowned Miss Globe 2016.

Colombia has the highest number of wins at Top Model of the World pageant along with Germany, winning the title in 2009 and then 2013 and 2014 consecutively.
