Viridiana Zamora Mejía crowned Mexicana Universal Nayarit 2017 for Mexicana Universal 2018

At the finale of the state pageant held at Cenix, Ixtlán del Río on 9th September 2017, Viridiana Zamora Mejía was crowned Mexicana Universal Nayarit 2017 and will represent the province of Nayarit in Mexicana Universal 2018 beauty pageant to be held in May 2018. Virdinia, a native of Tuxpan is a medical student. She is 22 years of age and stands tall at an impressive height of 180 cm.

At the finale night, which was full of glamour, the girls showcased their beauty and talent with catwalks in swimsuits, gowns and casual, delighting the attendees of the event. Eventually, Viridiana managed to impress the jury with her charm and intellect to win the crown.

Other nine candidates competing for the title were Francia Daniela Cortés Valle, Litzi Sarahí Santana Isiordia, Itzel Miroslava Moreno, Ruth Elizabeth Cárdenas Arias, Ventura Hayes Ávalos, Karla Yaneth Brambila Hernández, Mónica Lizeth Carrillo Coronado, Silvia Verónica Cortéz García, and Luz Bañuelos Mayorquín.

So far, no representative of Nayarit has managed to win the Nuestra Belleza Mexico (now Mexicana Universal) crown. Will Virdinia become the first ever Miss Universe Mexico from her state?
