Zimbabwe did not send its representative in Miss World 2016 and is now back to compete with Chiedza Lorraine Mhosva slated to represent Zimbabwe in Miss World 2017. 22-year-old Chiedza was crowned Miss World Zimbabwe 2017 at the Borrowdale Brooke Golf Club in Harare on 22nd July 2017. She is a student of film and acting at the University of Cape Town. She is not new to the modelling industry as she has been on the ramp before and has done photo-shoots for some fashion houses.
