Masty Hama Adel was declared as Iraq's Maiden of Beauty (the first runner-up) in Miss Iraq 2017 pageant held on 25th May 2017. However, after the dethronement of Vian Sulaimani, the originally crowned winner, she became Miss Iraq 2017 and is all set to become the first ever beauty from Iraq to participate in Miss World pageant. Masty is an 18-year-old beauty who hails from Halabja.
