Tonkham Mc Jennie Phonchanheuang was crowned Miss World Laos 2017 at the finale of Miss Universe Laos 2017 pageant held on 26th August 2017, and she is all set to become the first Lao woman to compete in Miss World pageant. Tonkham was crowned by Miss Grand International CEO Nawat Itsaragrisil, who is the franchise holder of Miss World for Laos.
