Jessia Islam, who originally was the first runner-up of Miss World Bangladesh 2017, subsequently replaced the original winner Jannatul Nayeem Avril to take over the crown and the privilege to represent Bangladesh in Miss World 2017. Bangladesh last competed in Miss World in the year 2001, and now after a gap of 15 years will make a comeback with Jessia. Bangladesh has never won a Miss World title, and Jessia is all set to make an impression in Miss World 2017.
