21 finalists of Femina Miss India 2016 dazzled in their respective National Costumes. The National Costume competition has been held on March 19’ 2016 at Hotel Sahara Star in Mumbai. Some of the finalists walked down the ramp donning utter ethnicity, while some were seen wearing Indo-western fusion showcasing the royal heritage of the great land of colours and culture, India.
Each contestant of Femina Miss India 2016 represented their state slipping in their own traditional outfits. A National Costume contest is considered to be an extremely vital part of any pageant and has great impact on a contender’s individuality, and how does an aspirant sees her land and how has she showcased her region in her own way!

During the National Costume competition, the 21 aspirants of this year’s Femina Miss India pageant will be judged on the basis of national representation & innovative description of national costume, and the amount of personal efforts taken by the aspirants.
However, the results of the National Costume contest will be announced during the night of the coronation, wherein Miss India World 2016, Aditi Arya will crown her successor as Femina Miss India 2016.
The winners of Femina Miss India 2016 will further vie for the titles of Miss World 2016, Miss Supranational 2016 and Miss Grand International 2016.
