At the finale of Miss Asia 2016 held on August 18’ 2016, 23 years old beauty named Trixia Maria Marana from Philippines was crowned as the winner. Trixia defeated 17 other stunners to clinch the coveted crown.

Delegates from different Asian countries like Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Tibet, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Russia, Nepal, Myanmar, Moldova, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Iran, India, Bhutan, Belarus, Bangladesh, and Azerbaijan vied for the prestigious title.
Trixia Maria Marana is a graduate of Asian College of Science and Technology - Dumaguete with a degree in Business Administration major in Management, and is currently employed as an auto loan assistant. She is not a newbie in the world of pageants, and joined Mutya ng Pilipinas in 2014 and was crowned Miss Negros Oriental in 2015.
In addition to winning the crown, Trixia who hails from Dumaguete received a cash prize and gifts from sponsors. At the same pageant, Miss Belarus was titled first runner-up and Miss India was named second runner-up.
Miss Asia is a beauty pageant from the house of Pegasus in India "hoping to find the most beautiful and talented women from the Asian and Eurasian region."
2016 was the second year for the Miss Asia pageant. The first Miss Asia winner was Kanika Kapur of India, while Miss Philippines Alfe Marie Nathanile Dagle Uy was named first runner-up.
