Philippines’ hit reality show, Pinoy Big Brother has returned with Season 10 as a new batch of housemates will be moving into the house. The new season will have adult, celebrity, and teen editions. The season was announced on ‘It's Showtime’ by Vice Ganda and PBB alums Ryan Bang and Kim Chiu.
As many names are being revealed for the 10th edition of one of the biggest shows, Philippines’ beloved beauty queen Samantha Bernardo has joined the batch for Pinoy Big Brother as an official celebrity housemate. Miss Grand Philippines 2020 Samantha Mae Bernardo was crowned as the First Runner-up Miss Grand International 2020.
Samantha stood out amongst the rest and showed immense potential to be at the top since the competition commensed. After three years of waiting, Samantha represented Philippines at Miss Grand International 2020. Everyone in her country wanted her to represent Philippines at an international platform because of her exceptional capabilities.
Samantha hails from Puerto Princesa and is currently a resident of Manila and holds a degree in International Hospitality and Management. This gorgeous diva is also an entrepreneur at Frontrow International which is a leading business company in the Philippines. Apart from her professional work, Samantha is also involved in philanthropy as she is an active volunteer at Philippine Movement Against Malaria organisation through which she tries to create awareness regarding the viral disease and its prevention in the Filipino community.
While she made Philippines proud at one of the biggest beauty platforms in the world, Samantha had recently announced her retirement from the pageant world, because of her age, contract, and new goal, leaving the pageant fanatics disappointed yet in awe of her journey.
Similarly like the previous season, Pinoy Big Brother Connect, auditions for the upcoming season will be done via streaming platform Kumu. Auditions for the adult edition will start on 1st September, while auditions for the teen edition will open on 1st December.
The reality show follows a group of people living together in one house for a set period of time, completing different challenges throughout. Housemates are eliminated every week, until a winner is declared in the season finale. The show has launched the showbiz careers of many of its winners and is considered as a big breakthrough platform.
