Meet 27 years old finalist of Miss South Africa 2016, Ronette Chamber hailing from Cape Town. Ronette is a second year BCom Law UNISA student and an International Television Presenter (Co-Host of The Capgemini Super Techies Show season 3 Mumbai India/ Paris, France). The beauty queen is also the Founding Director at Touch Of Life International Foundation, an NPO that serves as medical aid for disabled, vulnerable and orphaned children.

“To have the opportunity to be a driving force for change through partnerships with various Non Profit Organisations that tackle humanitarian challenges in South Africa. I will help take pressure off government to relieve poverty by working hands on in our communities.”, says Ronette, when asked why she wants to be the next Miss South Africa.

Jo-Ann Strauss, Vanessa Carreira and Melinda Bam are the three former Miss South Africa that Ronette looks up to. She believes that these three winners are all women with passion, beauty and intellect. Ronette is also highly inspired by her mom who has taught her a lot and has been her support system throughout the ups and downs of her life.

During her spare time, Ronette loves going to the beach with a good book or with her friends as her companion. Her message to young girls and aspirants of South Africa is, “You were given this life to serve a purpose. Every dream you have is part of your purpose, of who you are and what you are meant to do. Your dreams have been uniquely designed to fit your life.”
