Shalu has one of the fittest bodies out of all her competitors in India’s Next Top Model and is 20 years of age. She is from the city of Vadodara in Gujarat. She is one of the favourites of Anusha Dandekar, one of the mentors in the competition. Shalu is trained to become a Cabin Crew at Wings Institute - Air Hostess & Hotel Management Training and had taken part in a local beauty pageant where she became Central Miss Gujarat 2017.
