Mpoi Mahao representing Lesotho in Miss World 2017 is 20 years old and stands tall at 170 cm. Currently a student, Mpoi has ambitions to be a Lawyer and to open her own Law firm. She enjoys reading, taekwondo and skiing. Her special talents lie in Ballroom dancing, singing and poetry recitals; she is particularly talented in handicraft and is part of the African Creatives Indaba. She loves Will Smith’s movie 'The Pursuit of Happyness.' Since being crowned Mpoi has raised awareness about Aids and HIV. She knows languages Sesotho, English, IsiXhosa, and IsiZulu excellently. She believes that 'Strive to be the best.'
