Philisantha van Deuren representing Netherlands in Miss World 2017 is 21 years old and stands tall at 182 cm. After completing a preliminary degree in Environmental Science, Philisantha has just finished her first year of a Psychology degree. She has future ambitions to combine her passion for sustainability and the environment with her knowledge about people. Philisantha enjoys sailing and her proudest moment is when at 17, she became a sailing instructor. She plays the piano and sings. Her life’s motto is 'when it comes to a stage of mind I would say 'true north' doesn't exist except for in your heart’.
