Maureen is a model and a host by profession and she also works with a modelling agency called The Agency Arizona. Maurine has participated in Miss Arizona USA 2015 in the past, which gave her the experience and confidence during the finale of Miss World Philippines 2018. In this pageant, she was announced as Miss Eco Philippines 2019 which gave her the chance to represent the Philippines.
