Jeanè Van Dam was crowned Miss Grand South Africa 2021 on 15th August, 2021, in a private ceremony by Miss Grand South Africa organization. She succeded Anrónet Ann Roelofsz Miss Grand South Africa 2020 for the title.
The 20-year-old stands 168 cm tall and is student of law and commerce at Bond University, a business owner and the founder of a non-profit organization called 'The Beauty of Caring'.
The diva is passionate about teaching and dancing and is firm believer in the idea that it is people who change the world. She intends to expand her organization internationally and advocate against domestic and gender-based violence. She wants to use the platform to educate people around gender-based violence and advocate for change.
