Anyela Salerno is a student from Guanare, in the Western ‘breadbasket’ state of Portuguesa. Highly alert on altruistic work, Anyela is a cancer survivor who campaigns for the needs of other victims, with ambitions of starting her own NGO in the future. Aside from her charity work, Anyela likes to keep fit by going running and swimming, and her hobbies include gold smithing, handicraft, and playing the Cuatro, a Latin American guitar-like instrument. Will she succeed Ivian Sarcoss becoming seventh Miss World from Venezuela, only time will tell!
