Joylyn Anita Conway was crowned Miss Guyana 2019 on 23rd June 2019. Conway is a proud Berbician and a Natural Science enthusiast holding a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and a minor in Biology from the University of Guyana. She is a science lecturer and lab instructor who aspires to become a certified forensic chemist. Her mantra, “aspire to inspire before you expire” encompasses much of her hobbies – teaching, dancing, volunteering, coaching young women and children on personal development and enjoy traveling, trying new foods and putting smiles on frowned faces.
