Chelsea Tayui Miss Universe Ghana 2020

Chelsea Tayui was crowned Miss Universe Ghana 2020 on 26th September 2020 in a private ceremony. She succeeds Miss Universe Ghana 2018 Akpene Diata Hoggar for the title and will be representing the country at the Miss Universe 2020 stage.

Hailing from Keta in the Volta region, Chelsea is 25-years-old and is a communications executive and has been working with an NGO before Miss Universe. The diva is strong, beautiful, and determined to be able to perform her best at the competition. She is described as is a modern-day translation of confidently beautiful.

Chelsea would use the platform to incite in young girls the spirit of self-trust and the exceptional ability to believe in themselves to take on the universe as future leaders. She is powerful, focused, and confident with how and what she wants to use the platform given to her which is why she could be a strong contender at the pageant. Ghana returns to the Miss Universe competition after a year of hiatus and the people of the country feel that Chelsea is a great choice.
