India has crowned its representatives to major international beauty pageants for 2019 and it’s safe to say that the beauty queens crowned this year have tremendous potential to win a crown in their respective pageants for the country.
In the year 2017, India gave a stellar performance as Manushi Chhillar was crowned Miss World and brought laurels to the country. India placed in the top 30 and top 20 contenders of the same pageant in 2018 and 2016 respectively. India has not been in the winning streak for a decade now but the performances have definitely gone up a notch in the recent years.
Here are the representatives of India to various international pageants – Miss Universe India 2019 Vartika Singh, Miss World India 2019 Suman Rao, Miss International India 2019 Simrithi Bathija, Miss Earth India 2019 Tejaswini Manogna, Miss Supranational India 2019 Shefali Sood, Miss Grand International India 2019 Shivani Jadhav and Miss Intercontinental India 2019 Surina Jaidka.
