Ámar Pacheco was crowned Miss World Ecuador 2021 as she succeeded Miss World Ecuador 2019 María Auxiliadora Idrovo for the title.
Amar is 23-years-old and stands 173cm tall. She is the daughter of the singer Silvana Ibarra and the renowned musician Gustavo Pacheco. She has been singing since she was two years old and her voice was her best strategy during the talent test of the Reina de Guayaquil contest, in which she performed songs by the late artist Whitney Houston and Silvana. Amar speaks English and Spanish and actively helps children with disabilities through Music at her parents' foundation and volunteers at integral arts centres and teaches musical theatre classes, besides singing, Amar also likes dancing and is passionate about beauty pageants.
