Venezuela has dominated the Miss Universe pageant by holding the second position with seven crowns under its belt. With the new chairmanship, after the resignation of Osmel Sousa, in 2018, the delegate to Miss World 2019 was crowned. In 2019, the Miss Venezuela pageant was held a little earlier to prepare the queens better as they will represent Venezuela in various international pageants.

Usually, the winner of Miss Venezuela represents her country in Miss Universe as it happened this year but last year’s winner is going to represent Venezuela in Miss World this year. The changes come in accordance with new leadership and various changes in the organization.
