Alexandria Eissinger crowned as Miss Earth Denmark 2016

Alexandria Eissinger has been crowned as Miss Earth Denmark 2016 at the end of the gala night of Face of Denmark 2016 held on May 14’ 2016 in Copenhagen. Alexandria will now represent Denmark at Miss Earth 2016 pageant to be held later this year. 

At the same event, Christina Mikkelsen from København (Copenhagen) was crowned as Face of Denmark 2016, Sofie Klejnstrup Nielsen (Christianshavn) was crowned Miss Supranational Denmark 2016, and Sara Skals Danielsen (Odense) was crowned Miss International Denmark 2016. The three runners-up will now represent Denmark in, Miss Universe 2016, Miss Supranational 2016, and Miss International 2016 respectively.

The 26 years old Alexandria Eissinger (Miss Roskilde 2016) was crowned and sashed by two former Miss Earth Queens - Catharina (2001) and Larissa (2009).

Alexandria was born and raised in a small town in Missouri to a Danish mother and an American father. After graduating high school, she moved to Denmark and had spent the past six years studying fashion design and Earth sciences and working as a model, makeup artist and photo retoucher. The beauty queen has dedicated her life to a greater good; preserving wildlife, educating society on environmental issues and contributing to new discoveries within the natural sciences.

The scintillating gala was attended by so many eminent personalities. And was judged by the coveted panel of judges including the first Miss Earth winner from Denmark, Catharina Brink, Miss Denmark 1986 Pia Rosenberg (who placed second in Miss International 1986), and Miss Denmark 1963 Aino Korva (who placed second in Miss Universe 1963).
