Binibining Pilipinas 2018 has just recently crowned its queen Miss Universe Philippines 2018 Catriona Gray, but the bid to find next year’s queen already becomes a hot topic in Philippines. Before the pageant even has a chance to start registrations, beauty queens from the all-over Philippines, eligible for the pageant, have started hinting at possibilities of them fighting in the competition.
The latest beauty queen to join this race is Reina Hispanoamericana 2017, Teresita Wyn Marquez. While Wyn already holds an international title, she still wants to try her hand out at an even more prestigious one, Miss Universe. Wyn has made it clear that the possibility of her joining the Binibining Pilipinas 2019 elections are not just rumors, and that she is seriously considering trying out for the title.

“Actually, puwede pa po akong sumali ng Bb. Pilipinas next year. I can still join (Actually, I can join Bb. Pilipinas next year. I can still join.),” she said in an interview with an entertainment website.
When asked if her final decision was to compete in Binibining Pilipinas again, she replied: “Pasok pa rin, pero I don’t know. We’ll see. (Still going, but I do not know. We'll see.)”
“Everything is possible. I don’t want to close any doors, pero nasa age limit pa ako and puwede pa akong sumali at 26 years old (Everything is possible. I don’t want to close any doors, but I'm still in my age limit and I can join and 26 years old),” she added.
With such experienced beauty queens re-appearing at pageants every year, will it become hard for the newbies of pageantry to succeed at these pageants?
