Binibini queens with international pageant experience for Binibining Pilipinas 2020

Binibining Pilipinas 2020, the 57th edition of Binibining Pilipinas, will be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Philippines. The pageant will award four titles to Philippine representatives to four major international beauty pageants which are Binibining Pilipinas Supranational 2020, Binibining Pilipinas International 2020, Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2020, Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2020 and Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2020.

While the forty delegates competing for the crown have begun to prepare for their national stint, this year’s batch boasts of stunning beauties with a lot of experience. There are a few talented divas who have participated in international pageants and secured high positions at the end of their respective event finale. So, let’s look at the Binibini Queens who have international pageant experience:

Binibini No. 16 Alexandra Mae Rosales who hails from the province of Laguna is 23-years-old and stands 175cm tall with a degree in Tourism from Malayan College. She currently works in a hotel and is considered as one of the most humble and kindest people in the team. Alexandra represented the Philippines at Miss Southeast Asian Tourism Ambassadress 2015 in Kuala Lumpur where she crowned first runner-up. This beauty pageant was the first ever pageant that Alexandra participated in and earned an opportunity to represent her country at international level. She also stated she wishes to promote Philippines in other Asian countries. She advocates for animal welfare specifically for those dogs and cats abandoned by their owners and victims of the recent Taal Volcano eruption. Alexandra strongly believes that young women should be taught to self-sufficient and how to raise a voice against something they find is not right. She is also a keen advocate for women empowerment and wants to be in a world where men and women are considered equals.


Binibini No. 16 Alexandra Mae Rosales


Binibini No. 11 Maureen Montagne who hails from the province of Batangas is 26-years-old and stands 170cm tall. She is a host and a model by profession and is of an American and Filipina heritage. Maureen has participated in Miss Arizona USA 2015, Miss World Philippines 2018 where she was adjudged as the first runner-up and finally participated in Miss Eco International 2019 where she was adjudged as the first runner-up at the end of the event finale. She loves the nature around her and promotes a healthy environment. This was one of the reasons she was placed higher in the Miss Eco International 2019. She is strikingly impressive when she walks and specially when she talks, an animate mature woman that can hold your gaze for a long time.


Binibini No. 11 Maureen Montagne


Binibini No. 23 Gabrielle Camille Basiano hails from the city of Tacloban and is 21 years of age, who stands 175cm tall. She is in the fourth-year of tourism at the Asian Development Foundation College of Tacloban. The diva is not new to the pageantry world as she has participated in Miss Friendship International 2019 and was placed as the first runner-up. She also bagged the tittle of Ambassadress of the World Philippines title last June, which allowed her to represent the Philippines for the Miss Friendship International. Gabrielle is one of the top Asian models and beauty queen in Philippines who has dominated various beauty pageants. She showcased the Filipino art and culture in her Sarimanok warrior-inspired national costume created by Razen Montero at Miss Friendship International 2019 competition. She has shot for various photographers and walked on stage for many designers. Gabrielle is a firm believer that the youth are the asset of our nation and thus, good education and values formation should be given to all. She also mentioned about her advocacy, “My advocacy is beauty and unity in diversity. It is about seeing and appreciating our cultural, physical and other differences. And using it to empower one another.”

Binibini No. 29 Honey Grace Cartasano hails from Antipolo City is 26-years-old and stands 170cm tall. She faced many obstacles and setbacks in her life but never gave up. She strove hard and took charge of her own life at a quite young age. She started working to support her family’s financial needs while attending school. The diva started working as a staff member of a clothing store because she had an interest in fashion and clothes at that time. One of her aspirations is to be an I.T. teacher so that she could travel to Japan to dive deep in their anime culture and authentic cuisine. The gorgeous diva is an anime fan and loves to play badminton in her free time. Honey was a part of Mutya ng Pilipinas 2018 and placed in the Top 25. She was one of the special awardees of Mutya ng Hannah title and became the fourth runner-up in Miss Toyota Alabang 2019. Honey was then a part of Binibining Pilipinas 2019 where she represented Rizal at the national pageant and placed in the Top 25. She represented the Philippines at Miss Tourism World 2019 (China Based) and was highly appreciated for her performance. She is an advocate of education for all and wishes that one day there will be a time where every child would be able to read and write.
