Mexicana Universal 2022, the 4th edition of the national pageant of Mexican Universal was held on 21st May 2022 at San Luis Potosí Convention Center, where stunning delegates from all over the country competed for the national titles at stake. At the end of the event, Irma Miranda of Sonora was crowned Mexicana Universal 2022.

Apart from the title, Veronica Gamboa of Niyarit was also crowned as Mexicana Latinoamericana 2023 and will represent Mexico at Nuestra Latinoamericana 2023. The 23-year-old is a nutritionist and dancer, she also has experience in beauty pageants, as she was the queen of the 2020 Nayarit Fair.

Veronica is strong, focused, determined, and confident that she will make the people of Mexico proud at the international platform. She succeeds Mexicana Latinoamericana 2020 Angeles Castro Chavez, who will represent the country at the Nuestra Latinoamericana 2022 pageant scheduled to be held later this year.

Other winners included Diana Robles of Guanajuato who was crowned Mexicana Hispanoamericana 2022 and Itzia Garcia who was crowned Mexicana International 2023 as these queens will now represent Mexico at the upcoming editions of the respective international pageants.
