Previously crowned as Miss Hawaii Teen USA 2013, Samantha Neyland was crowned Miss Hawaii USA 2020 on 10th November 2019 at Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu. She succeeds Lacie Choy Miss USA 2019 of Honolulu. Samantha will be representing Hawaii at the Miss USA 2020.
Samantha Neyland has a strong hold of military background that has given the model to travel to places like Alabama, Louisiana, Spain and Japan. She feels that it’s because of her parents, the model is a world traveler. She strongly believes that because she has experienced different cultures while growing up, it has given her a gift of being able to adapt easily and understand and respect people of all backgrounds.
Samantha’s victory of Miss Hawaii USA 2020 is not only her own but also for the military community as well. During her reign of Miss Hawaii Teen USA 2013, Samantha made various appearances and speeches at military community events which was dedicated to help the youth of Hawaii. She also volunteered with The American Red Cross, The Hawaiian Humane Society and some local charities too.
A successful model, Samantha tried her luck into acting too. She has appeared in feature films by Lionsgate, Sony and Lifetime. She also had cameos on hit shows like Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders (CBS) and Magnum P.W (CBS). The model has also worked for major brands like Skechers, MindBody, Maui Jim and many more.
Samantha Neyland is all set to represent Hawaii on Miss USA 2020 hopes to spread the message of the importance of positivity and self-confidence through volunteering and community outreach. Along with Samantha, Kilani Arruda was crowned Miss Teen Hawaii USA 2020 and will be representing Hawaii for the title of Miss USA Teen 2020.
