At the coronation night of Miss Maryland USA 2020 held a few hours ago, Taelyr Robinson was crowned the new queen as she became the official representative of Maryland in Miss USA 2020. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Maryland USA 2019 Mariela Pepin.

An epitome of grace at the coronation night, Taelyr performed with excellence at the contest proving her worth to win the crown. Taelyr took to her official social media to reveal her happiness in a post captioned, “8 years of effort, preparation, and a love of pageantry have all led to this dream come true! I’m so glad I never gave up because I’m Going to Miss USA! I’m so thankful my heart is bursting Maryland; I will make you proud.” The newly crowned queen’s court included –
First Runner-Up - Preslie Bennett
From Baltimore, Preslie is residing in Taneytown. Preslie is currently a student and working towards becoming a surgeon. She also gave an incredible performance at the finale night.
Second Runner-Up - Sujita Basnet
A GWU Alumna, Sujita is the first Miss Nepal USA and also Miss World MD 2019 1st Runner-Up. She is the founder of Liberat ED and is a consultant at Accenture. The stunning beauty performed with excellence and perfection at the contest.
Last year, Mariela Pepin Miss Maryland USA 2019 represented Maryland in Miss USA 2019 and with her incredible performance, she placed in the Top 10. Congratulations to the newly crowned queen.
