Another feather is added to the list of achievements in the life of Miss World Nepal 2016 Asmi Shrestha as she becomes the brand ambassador of Miss Nepal Peace 2018, dedicated to Nursing Fraternity of Nepal. She has happily accepted the role of a guiding angel and a judge in the competition.

Asmi could not hold her excitement and pride when she announced the news to the world. She is deeply attached to the noble cause of working towards the improvement of the nurse fraternity of Nepal and this was the major reason for her association with the pageant.

 

 

It always feels amazing to see the growing love for pageants in Nepal. As long as the pageant is focusing genuinely on the growth of the participants, i have always been a big supporter of it. There are many young ladies who love the idea of participating in pageants and they also have this dream of participating in Miss Nepal. However, Miss Nepal being the biggest platform sends the delegates to international pageants hence there is a big pressure of height criteria and more. Ever since i have won, i myself have received many messages saying they cannot meet the height criteria but they still want to participate in pageants someday. Last year, when i was going around for the activation for Miss Nepal we also happened to visit few nursing colleges in Nepalgunj. I remember how enthusiastic they were and also at the same time very compassionate and kind. So this time when i was approached to be the brand ambassador for Miss Nepal Peace 2018 , i immediately agreed thinking about them as this is dedicated to Nursing Fraternity. This would be the 5th season of Miss Nepal Peace pageant. This contest focuses on personality development, women empowerment, enhancing communication skills, health-related workshops, educational tours and various aspects of stage presentation and performance, Photoshoot, media orientation, fashion and beauty orientation and lot others to transform the selected participants for the competition.

Asmi’s ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ project was one of the Top 5 projects in Miss World 2016. She is sincerely associated with social causes whether in Nepal or internationally. With her knowledge and dedication, the girls participating in Miss Nepal Peace 2018 will surely get to learn a lot and it would be a really good opportunity for them to get one-on-one with the queen.
