The 65th edition of the Miss Universe pageant has finally come to a conclusion, and while all the contestants have moved on with their lives, the controversies haven’t left the side of the Miss Universe pageant yet. After getting over with the Iris Mittenaere’s controversial news, here is another news that is making waves.

 Miss Denmark Christina Mikkelsen has been dethroned. Days after arriving from Philippines after attending the Miss Universe pageant, the Face of Danmark Organisation has decided to dethrone the winner. The Organisation claims that they have received information that Mikkelsen is part of a criminal investigation and that is the reason she has been dethroned. Christina was informed about this just before she was about to go on live TV on the Danish morning show on DR.

However, if we consider the other side of the story, the news of dethronement came days after Mikkelsen accused the national director Paul Hamilton of sending her a text message, wherein she was asked to lose 8kgs of weight. Paul also asked her to send photos of herself in bikini to his private phone. Christina also revealed that there was this another company employee asked her to send topless photos to his phone, before fixing tickets to Philippines.

24 year old Christina Mikkelsen hails from Copenhagen. The wonderful heart of this stunning ambassador has led her to travel far and wide in order to find her passions and work for charities. The gorgeous volunteered for a year in China and spent her efforts and time working for many amazing causes. Christina has a degree in politics and journalism and was working as an image consultant at a renowned television station in Denmark.
