She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Universe Iceland 2018 Katrín Lea Elenudóttir.

Birta Abiba represented Geysir at the national contest. The 19-year-old beauty gave a stunning performance at the coronation night earning the right to represent Iceland in Miss Universe 2019. With the dream of becoming a published author someday, Birta is definitely a beauty with brains. She aims to help raise more schools and enlist proper education systems in countries that are still battling high rates of poverty. Birta was a part of our Top favourites for the crown as well!
