Miss USA 2018 aka Miss Universe USA 2018 Sarah Rose Summers is officially off to Bangkok, Thailand to begin her journey in the 67th Miss Universe pageant. The 23-year-old gorgeous beauty was crowned Miss USA 2018 at the finale held on 21st May 2018 at Hirsch Memorial Coliseum in Shreveport, Louisiana.
As she departed for Bangkok, Thailand from the John F. Kennedy International Airport, Sarah Rose took to her official social media to thank her followers and express her emotions in a post, “I am overwhelmed with gratitude for this opportunity to represent the USA at Miss Universe - it is an honor I could have never imagined. To my family, friends, USA team, and global fans, thank you for all of the support you have shown me leading to this moment. I hope to make you proud through living each day with grace, vibrance, and humility. I cannot believe it’s time...here we go!”
The 23-year-old graduate from Texas Christian University earned two degrees with a cum laude distinction: a Bachelor of Science in strategic communication with a business minor, and a Bachelor of Science in child development.
Sarah Rose Summers has spent quite some time with the reigning Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters in the last few months as she shared an apartment with her in New York. With her prior experience in the pageantry and her time spent with the Miss Universe queen, Sarah will definitely be a strong competition for the other ladies in Miss Universe.
