Keysi Sayago, the representative of Monagas was crowned as the Miss Venezuela 2016 at the culmination of the glorious finale held on October 5’ 2016 in Caracas, Venezuela. Keysi has now officially got the right to represent Venezuela at the Miss Universe 2017 pageant.
22 years old Keysi enjoys outdoor activities and likes to read and cooks for pleasure. What is also interesting that Keysi celebrates her birthday on 6th October, so that’s the most precious birthday gift Kesyi has got this year for her birthday. For her, the crown of Miss Venezuela is a symbol of reward and joy.
Keysi succeeds outgoing Miss Universe Venezuela, Mariam Habach, and will now represent the country at the Miss Universe 2017 pageant. Mariam will represent Venezuela at the Miss Universe 2016 pageant to be held in January 2017.
At the same coronation night, Diana Macarena Croce García was adjudged first runner- up while, Paola Antonella Massaro Escalona was titled as second runner – up, Reneta Carolina Bello Lacal made it to the third runner-up and Rosangélica Piscitelli Ferreri finished as fourth runner-up.
This year, a total of 24 contestants from different province of Venezuela competed at Miss Venezuela 2016 pageant. The scintillating finale of Miss Venezuela 2016 was graced by two renowned international guests such as: the Dominican merengue singer - Eddy Herrera and Singer Felipe Peláez.
The gala night started with the introduction of contestants, followed by the swimsuit and evening gown round. Based on the two rounds, the top 10 finalists for the pageant were announced.

Further, the top 10 finalists went through the question and answer session asked by the prominent judges for the night. Based on the Q&A round, the winner was announced.
