The 67th edition of Miss Venezuela i.e., Miss Venezuela 2020, is all set to be hosted in the month of May in Caracas, Venezuela. The 24 delegates from all over the country will compete for the title of Miss Venezuela 2020 and an opportunity to represent Venezuela at major international beauty pageants of Miss Universe 2020, Miss World 2020 and Miss International 2020. At the end of the event, Thalía Olvino, Miss Venezuela 2019 of Delta Amacuro, will crown her successor.

Before the pageant begins, we have picked out our early favorites who we think can be a strong contender for the title this year. So, let’s look at the potential winners of the Miss Venezuela 2020 title.

Valentina Sánchez

Valentina hails originally from the Orange County, California and moved to Venezuela when she was three-years-old. She is 24-years-old and stands 155cm tall and is passionate about getting to know more on her philanthropy and on building a career as a bilingual journalist and TV and radio producer. She had an opportunity to work for CNBC as a Digital Video, Strategic Content, and Assignment Desk intern for three semesters. For her last semester of under-graduation, the diva made the transition from CNBC to Telemundo47 where she is currently working. She is a keen advocate of Mental Health and wants to raise awareness regarding the same. She is strong, confident and experienced in the field of pageantry as she was earlier titled as Teen Model Nueva Esparta 2011, Teen Model Venezuela 2011 and later competed and won Miss New Jersey Teen USA 2014. She recently competed in Miss New Jersey USA 2020 but unfortunately wasn’t placed.

Alejandra Conde

Alejandra Conde hails from Maracay; is 22-years-old and stands 178cm tall. She is a professional model who has worked with various designers and photographers to gain experience in the field of pageantry. She participated and won the title of Sambil Model 2017 and hasn’t looked back. Her determination and dedication towards doing things in life has kept her motivating to achieve her dreams. She is always ready to grab on to any opportunity she is offered in order to achieve her dreams of being a beauty queen. She thankful and blessed to be around people who has always motivated her and supported her. She is compared to celebrity-supermodel Kendall Jenner because of her looks and face. She is fierce and strong headed who keeps her opinion out loud.

Daniela Montañés

Daniela hails from Caracas; is 26-years-old and stands 176cm tall. She has graduated with a degree in Administrative Sciences from Metropolitan University.  She works as a professional model and a business consultant. She participated in Miss World Spain 2019 and represented Segovia. She was placed as one of the finalists during the pageant. She has a keen interest in Flamenco dance and volunteering for the social groups. She is very optimistic and passionate about beauty pageants because she strongly believes that beauty pageants give one a platform to advocate about something they feel very strongly about. She wants to use the platform to advocate about women accepting themselves as they are and not the way society wants them to be. She has participated in Miss Venezuela 2020 to win the title but along the way she expects to learn something new every day. She believes that during a beauty pageant one can meet very talented people and it helps them to get the best out of themselves and correct those defects that require it. Daniela is very hardworking and a confident woman who wishes to represent Venezuela at international platform and showcase the cultural and traditional values of the country across the globe.

María Estefanie Colmenares

Maria hails from Caracas; is 25-years-old and stands 177cm tall. The diva is graduated with a degree in Dentistry of the USM. She works as a professional model and a dentist and is fluent in English and French. She is strong, confident and has worked with various designers and photographers to gain experience and understand how beauty pageant world functions. Being a doctor, she is compassionate about humanity and always preaches out the message of being kind to one- another but most importantly to oneself. She is optimistic and strong opiniated when it comes to putting her thoughts and opinions out in public. She is aware about the competition that is on her way and she works hard to be the best in whatever field she is. She is often seen talking about body-shaming in her social media accounts. She has personally dealt with a lot of body-shaming and now wants to raise awareness about the fact that it is the most hurtful thing one can do to other. Her confidence is commendable and will help during the competition.

Elizabeth Gasiba

Elizabeth hails from Caracas; is 22-years-old and stands 176cm tall and is a student of dentistry at Santa Maria University. She works as a professional model and an athlete. The diva has worked for various brand to gain experience and knowledge about the beauty pageant world. Elizabeth has also worked for her Jonathan an angel for Vzla as a volunteer. She has previously participated in Miss Teen Beauty Venezuela 2017 where she was placed as the finalist; later she participated at Queen of the Puerto Azul Club 2017 and at a contest by Osmel Sousa 2018 where she was adjudged as the finalist. She has been very excited and blessed to be a part of Miss Venezuela 2020 competition which she would use to advocate about women empowerment. She is very clear with her goals and dreams; her struggles have only helped and motivated her to work hard to achieve them. She is a fitness enthusiast and makes sure to work out every day to maintain her healthy and fit body for the competition.
