Krisztina Nagypál crowned Miss World Hungary 2019

At the grand coronation night of Miss World Hungary 2019 held hours ago at the MTV - Magyar Televízió (MTVA), Krisztina Nagypál was crowned the new queen and gained the opportunity to represent Hungary in Miss World 2019. She was crowned by the outgoing queen Andrea Szarvas Miss World Hungary 2018.

The 22-year-old beauty hails from Budapest and is currently studying Human Resources Management at Budapesti Metropolitan Egyetem. This beauty is no stranger to pageant world as she has also won the title of Miss Balaton 2016. Nagypál performed exceptionally well at the finale and indeed deserved to win the crown. She showed potential from the commencement of the beauty pageant and was also placed first at the pre pageant Miss Bikini competition.

The queens walked along the runway in four different outfits which included the bikinis circle, national dresses, evening gowns and a so-called creative tour, Nagypál stood out in all these runway rounds and awed everybody with her graceful and confident presence on the ramp.

First Runner-Up - Tímea Gaá

Second Runner-Up - Rebecca Csonka

While sixteen beauties competed for the national crown, those who made it to the Top 5 included- Ollári Barbara, Gaál Tímea, Nagypál Krisztina, Csonka Rebeka and Kis Virág. Some special awards were also given at the finale night; Audience Award went to Lakatos Lilla and the Most Beautiful Smile went to Rebecca Csonka.

Last year, Andrea Szarvas Miss World Hungary 2018 was unable to secure a position in the top of Miss World 2018 and the country is yet to pioneer its win in Miss World beauty pageant.
