Next in line to utilize this following is none other than a beauty queen from Miss Earth 2017 Karen Ibasco’s Philippines court, Miss Philippines Earth Air 2017 Kim De Guzman.
Kim was last seen at the stage of the Miss Philippines Earth 2018 pageant’s coronation night as she passed over her title and walked her farewell walk. As soon as her reign as Miss Philippines Earth Air 2017 ended, news of her bidding for Miss World Phillipines 2018 has surfaced. Now, this could not be sheer coincidence. She was spotted at the Aces And Queens’ recent camp for Miss World Philippines 2018.
Her chances of winning surely depend on how people react to the news of her candidacy. History has proven that the Filipinos love a returning queen, and that could mean immense support for Kim.

However, she might not be the only returning queen, and could face some tough competition.
Early April, Miss Globe Philippines 2017 Nelda Ibe took to her Instagram account, and announced her candidacy for Miss world Philippines 2018, in a very discreet, and confusing manner.
Considering it was the 1st of April when she made the post, fans asked her if it was just an April fool’s joke. Comments poured in on the post asking her the same. One day after Ibe made the announcement, the beauty queen closed the comments section of her Instagram but she retained her post. Two days later, she deleted the post.
