The 25th edition of Puteri Indonesia 2021 will be held next year in the month of March where the representatives from all over Indonesia will participate for the national crown as well as an opportunity to represent Indonesia at International beauty pageants. Puteri Indonesia 2020 Ayu Maulida will crown her successor by the end of the event finale.
Achintya Holte Nilsen who was Miss World Indonesia 2017 has caught our attention as a potential candidate to represent Indonesia at Miss Universe 2021. Achintya is an Indonesian model, tv presenter who represented Indonesia at Miss World 2017 and was placed at Top 10 by the end of the event. She is passionate about modeling, fashion, makeup and reading.
Achintya is 21-years-old and stands 176cm tall. She hopes to improve the economy of the wider community in Indonesia by developing Sustainable Tourism along with other programs that can be directly felt by the community. She has been a volunteer at humanitarian, environmental awareness and tourism events.
The diva has her own blog website where she shares her experience with her fans and followers. In one of her post, she has mentioned that she never dreamed of being a beauty queen title holder but when she was crowned Miss World Indonesia 2017, she loved every part of it. She stated that if a girl who grew up running around muddy rice fields barefoot, rocking up to school with ratty shorts and loose flip flops, could end up floating her way across a stage wearing gravity-defying gowns and skyscraper heels as Miss World Indonesia 2017 then anyone who dreams about being on-stage can do it.
During the competition of Miss World 2017, Achintya not only was placed at Top 10 but was also declared as the winner of "Beauty with a Purpose" award. She is concerned about the health and nutrition of people in Indonesia and her beauty with a purpose project revolved around the same. Her team encouraged the people of a severely undernourished village to be more aware of the health concerns regarding their children, and how it was possible to use their own surroundings to their benefit. Aside from providing nutritional information, they also created a sustainable farming program using their uncultivated land.
Achintya is a very positive and strong headed woman who desires to bring the recognition to her country and she’d be honored to represent Indonesia at Miss Universe 2021. She follows, ‘Truth. Simplicity. Love’ as her motto in life and follows a plant-based diet to maintain herself healthy and fit. She has spoken about her insecurities and how she has overcome them like a queen does. She wants every woman out there to understand their importance and start valuing oneself because at the end of the day all you have is you.

Puteri Indonesia 2020 was held on 6th March 2020 at Jakarta Convention Center in Jakarta, Indonesia Puteri Indonesia 2019 Frederika Alexis Cull crowned her successor, Rr. Ayu Maulida Putri of East Java at the end of the event. She will now represent Indonesia at Miss Universe 2020.
