The organization of Puteri Indonesia announced that Puteri Indonesia Foundation and PT Mustika Ratu Tbk will hold the coronation for Puteri Indonesia 2021 soon where the delegates from all over the country will compete for the national crown and earn their chance to represent Indonesia at Miss Universe 2021, Miss International 2021, and Miss Supranational 2021.
With a list of divas being prepared who seem potential and strong to represent Indonesia at international stage, one name has caught everyone’s attention who seems like an ideal choice for the title is Sarlin Delee Jones. Sarlin is 19-years-old and stands 170 cm tall. She is passionate and determined to make the people of her country; Indonesia proud and Puteri Indonesia 2021 seems like a right platform for the diva.
The Indo-American descent, beauty queen is not new to the world of beauty pageants as she has represented Indonesia at Miss Grand International 2019 where she was highly appreciated for her performance but unfortunately couldn’t win the title. Before winning the opportunity to represent the country at Miss Grand International 2019, Sarlin worked as a freelance model in Kupang and is described as hard working, dedicated, and professional at work.
Sarlin had mentioned that beauty pageants have helped her to gain not only new experiences in life but also opportunities and immense amount of confidence and believe that with hard work, focus, and dedication, she can make the people around her proud and happy. She also mentioned that since she has learnt so much from beauty pageants, she would like to be a role model for the future generation who aspires to explore the pageantry world and encourage them to do so.
During Miss Grand Indonesia 2019 finale, she was asked about who has inspired her the most in life, to which the diva mentioned, “The figure that inspires me is my father. He always gives the best for me. He always supported me in every situation. He is my best friend. Besides my father, she is also a mother to me.” Sarlin’s father describes the beauty queen as shy, lovable, and an honest woman. "I have had a lot of experience, have traveled the world, I told her what I know and always encouraged her to study diligently, not only the material provided by the teacher but whatever we have to learn," the father explained.
After Sarlin’s mother expired, her father and sister stuck by herside through thick and thin and when she won the beauty competition, she called up her dad and thanked him for all the support and prayers he did for her to have a wonderful life. She is positive, hopeful, friendly, and determined about her goals in life, which makes her one of the favorites for the title of Puteri Indonesia 2021.
If Sarlin decides to participate, she will be one of the strongest contenders for the crown as she has experience, knowledge, and zeal to win the title.
