Meghna Sharma of Medan was crowned as Puteri Indonesia North Sumatra 2020 on the eve of the Grand Finale of Puteri Indonesia North Sumatra 2020 at the International Convention Center in Jalan Adam Malik Medan on 29th November 2019. She became an official representative of North Sumatra in Puteri Indonesia 2020. Meghna Sharma succeeded 19 other finalists to win the title as she went through various stages of judging process.

Meghna has attained the Degree of Fashion Design from Management Development Institute of Singapore. She has also presented her designer work at Singapore Fashion Week 2017. Meghna is confident, calm and in control when she walks on the stage. She has already planned plans for future because she does not want a crown which just becomes a decoration in her glass cabinet but would help her to raise awareness about essential things going on the world.

First Runner-up - Fourtina Fricilia Hutahaean

Second Runner-up - Novita Christi Samosir

Meghna has mentioned that in future she wants to fight for the rights of women and an environmentally friendly life. For her victory Meghna Sharma received a prize in the form of a trophy, cash worth Rp 10,000,000. As well as educational scholarships worth Rp 28,000,000 and various beauty care vouchers.

Sonia Fergina Citra Puteri Indonesia 2018 attended the coronation ceremony and pinned the crown to Meghna Sharma. Sonia looked elegant with a simple makeup. Sonia’s green kebaya and red flower-shaped hair ornaments added more elegance to her appearance. The 20 Indonesian finalists looked slick using the archipelago batik with a variety of unique patterns, complemented by simple makeup.

The Chairman of PKK Mover Team and North Sumatra Indonesia Women’s Trustee 2020 Nawal Lubis were present to watch the coronation night and gave a speech during the final round. He congratulated the diva by stating, ‘Congratulations to Meghna, hopefully you can carry out your duties, don't be discouraged, and make the name North Sumatra sound’.

The 20 finalists were interviewed with five judges from various background; they were presented with questions related to personal and insight into humanitarian and cultural issues.
