At the end of the gala coronation evening of Miss World Malta 2016 held on June 18’ 2016 at the Piazza Theater in the capital city of Valletta, Anthea Zammit from Zebbug won the title and was crowned the Miss World Malta 2016. Anthea will now represent Malta at the splendid Miss World 2016 pageant to be held in Washington D.C, USA later this year. She was also among our Top 10 Favouriteds for the crown.
Anthea was crowned by her predecessor Katrina Pavia, Miss World Malta 2015 at the end of the scintillating gala. Before crowning the winner, the 26 years old gorgeous Katrina took her final walk as the outgoing queen. Anthea with her long luscious and beautiful curls is blessed with modelisque looks and sharp edgy features. She holds great chances at making it big at the Miss World Beauty Pageant.

Anthea clinched the eminent crown of Miss World Malta 2016 after defeating 29 other beautiful aspirants who also gave a strong competition at the coronation night of Miss World Malta 2016.
At the same event Jade Cini was adjudged the first runner- up and Christa Formosa was titled as the second runner-up.
In the history of Miss World, only one Maltese beauty has landed at the semis of Miss World, which was in the year 1969. In 1969, Mary Brincat made her way to the semis at the Miss World pageant held in London.
