The most-awaited international film festival - Cannes Film Festival - is spreading the glamour all around as the gala festival is currently ongoing where all the amazing stars are slaying in disparate glam looks. This is the 72nd edition of annual Cannes Film Festival which is going to end on 25th May 2019. Mexican filmmaker Alejandro González Iñárritu serves as the jury president. American film director Jim Jarmusch's ensemble zombie comedy film The Dead Don't Die is the opening film of the festival. The festival honoured French filmmaker Agnès Varda featuring her on the official poster of the festival.

Founded in the year 1946, Cannes Film Festival previews new films of all genres, including documentaries from all around the world. This festival is one of the Big Three alongside the Venice Film Festival and Berlin International Film Festival. On 1st July 2014, co-founder and former head of French Pay TV operator Canal+, Pierre Lescure, took over as President of the Festival.
