She is a store advisor who is fluent in Maltese and English. Yanika was born into a family of models as her mother and her grandmother were both in the same profession as hers.
Yanika is no stranger to the pageant world as she was the winner of Miss Malta 2017. She succeeds Miss Earth Malta 2018 Christie Refalo. Christie represented Malta in Miss Earth 2017, but unfortunately was not able to secure a position in the finale.
