Nikita Chandak was crowned as Miss Nepal 2017 on 2nd June 2017 and won the award for Miss Popular Choice and Miss Confidence. She represented Nepal at Miss World 2017 and became the first Nepali beauty to secure a place in the Top model competition at Miss World. Nikita placed at the Top 10 in the People’s Choice Award and Top 20 in Beauty with a Purpose Award at Miss World’s stage. The beauty was adjudged as the second runner-up title in the Multimedia category and Head to Head Challenge from Group-3. She is a student of fashion communication at the JD Institute of Fashion Technology India, Bengaluru.
