18 years old Caleigh Shade lives in Cumberland, Maryland, was crowned in December 2017. Caleigh was competing in her first Miss Teen USA state pageant but has past experience at Miss Maryland's Outstanding Teen and was a preliminary swimsuit winner at Miss Maryland 2017.
Upon completion of her undergraduate degrees, Caleigh plans to continue her education with a public policy master’s degree or to attend law school. Caleigh also uses her program in high schools, We the People, to help seniors register to vote. She stands 173 cm tall.
