The 20-year-old American Beauty won the crown of Miss Kansas USA 2019 held on 25th November 2018 and have earned the spot to proudly represent Kansas in the Miss USA 2019. She is also no stranger to the pageant world as she was a participant in Miss Teen Kansas USA 2013 where she was placed in the Top 16 during the finale. Having already been familiar with pageantry gives Alyssa an edge over others.
