Tamaryn Green (Age: 24 Years, Height: 175 cm) was crowned Miss Universe South Africa 2018 during the grand finale of Miss South Africa 2018 held on 28th May 2018. She is, therefore, representing South Africa in Miss Universe 2018. Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters from South Africa is her predecessor which means she has a lot of pressure on her shoulders.
Tamaryn studied as a medical student at the University of Cape Town and wants to specialize in paediatrics once she qualifies. She launched a campaign named #breakthestigma which focuses on tuberculosis as she is able to relate to it due to her own fight with the disease in 2015.
