A student and Visual Jewellery Merchandiser, Katrina was born and raised in Victoria, capital of the island of Gozo, Malta’s twin city. Currently studying Nutrition, she aspires to be a spokesperson for healthy living and good nutrition. Katrina is also captivated by gemstones, and is studying Gemmology, with ambitions of developing her career in the jewellery industry. Aside from this, Katrina loves to swim and to snorkel, she loves to take care of her many pets, and her favourite music genres are classical and rock. An artistic person, she likes to make wind chimes with sea shells collected at the beach. She says: “Miss World is about personality, tenacity, sensitivity and philanthropy. It’s a showcase for the multi-facets of a woman and what women can achieve once they have established their goals. It is an opportunity for women to be seen by the world and to speak up for those people who are in need.”
