Monyque Brooks is 25 years of age and hails from Cayman Islands. She will be representing her country at the Miss World 2016 pageant. The beauty shares her future ambitions saying, “My two passions are tourism and performing arts. I plan to further my career in the tourism industry by providing entertainment to the tourism sector as it is something lacking in my country. In addition, I would like to work with children in the performing arts.” The most important thing in her life is her reputation. She explains, “My reputation is something I definitely strive to uphold. In my role as Miss Cayman Islands, I know I must set a good example for my country!” When asked about the proudest moment of her life, she shares, “In 2012, I planned an event for a child with cancer and managed to raise over $4 000 dollars in one night to cover his medical expenses. “ Her personal motto is, “In a world where you can be anything, be Cayman kind!”
