Megan Young is one of those fortunate beautiful divas, who got a chance to represent the nation in Miss World 2013 that took place on 28th September 2013 at Bali Nusa Dua International Convention Center, South Kuta, Bali, Indonesia. In the finale, she competed against 126 delegates from all around the world and with her willingness and excellence, she defeated all of them and made history for the country by bringing the crown to the country for the first time ever.

Megan pursued her secondary education in Regional Science High School III and studied filmmaking at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. Just like a coin, her career lies on the two sides as she is a TV host as well. Her debut in the first TV show was in the second season of the talent reality search, StarStruck wherein she secured in Top 6. Prior to this winning, she also represented in Miss World Philippines 2013 where she made a big name by winning the coveted title. This winning gave her the right to represent in Miss World 2013 and she was crowned again. These achievements gave a path of an ample number of opportunities to walk on and grab as much as she can.
